Sixty-eight reviews averaging 4.5 stars tell a story that no marketing copy could invent: people walk into Elks Lodge 2714 on South Fleming Street and immediately feel like they belong. Guests have called out hosts by name, Joe, Bonnie, and Norm, because the hospitality here is personal, not procedural. That is rare, and the regulars know it.

The lodge sits in Sebastian, FL, a town where the Indian River Lagoon runs slow and the community still gathers in person. Lodge 2714 leans into that spirit hard. Pajama parties, themed socials, charitable fundraisers, and quiet Tuesday evenings at the bar all share the same room and the same crowd because the membership is genuinely mixed: retirees, working families, veterans, and newcomers who found the place by accident and never really left.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been serving American communities since 1868, and Lodge 2714 carries that mission forward with a distinctly Sebastian personality. If you have driven past the building on Fleming and wondered what goes on inside, the short answer from dozens of members is the same: good people, good times, and a warm welcome every single time.

What We Offer

Lodge 2714 runs a full social calendar that keeps the parking lot busy most nights of the week. Themed events like the pajama party that drew rave reviews sit alongside weekly dinners, holiday celebrations, and member-organized outings. There is always something on the board, and the events committee keeps things fresh enough that longtime members still show up curious.

The lodge bar and lounge offers some of the friendliest service in Sebastian, a place where the bartender knows your name by the second visit. Beyond the social scene, Elks Lodge 2714 channels serious energy into community giving: scholarships for local students, support for veterans, and partnerships with Sebastian-area charities that put real dollars into real hands.

Membership opens the door to reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges nationwide, which means road-trippers and seasonal residents can walk into any lodge across the country and be treated like family. Visiting members from Boston have said so themselves.

"My first experience was fun. The staff was attentive while there was a big crowd. Everything you'd expect at an Elks Club. The only thing I'd suggest is for them to have blended drinks and a bit more selection for drinks."

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
